Paragraphs should be 4-6 sentence long.
1)Technology is advancing so much these days what will we change next? Technology has come so far from what I remember it being. When i was growing up a computer looked like a big box it was huge! Now we have computers that fit in the palm of our hand.
ReplyDeleteTo start, I would say that why ask if there is a Generation Cap what we should ask is if we are passing one do they really change from time to time. Are we different from others? What has caused evolution is it possible that man itself can change the people and the world is it possible. Can we really say that life today has evolved from back then is Generation from Generation can be used to say that technology from back then is different from know from having the first light bulbs and light and candles to the portable computer and I-pod touch or pad, also to a camera that is only is your finger. Well if you put it that way everybody has changed in some ways people are more open minded. Don’t you think? Life itself has remained itself its people that are no more. So from the first form of life till the human civilization so we can only expect that we will only be better and come in different sizes.
ReplyDelete2) "The only thing that will out due technology is technolgy itself". Technology is always changing its always advancing. It has no limitations. Look how far we've come from a house phone with a cord to a wireless cell phone.
ReplyDelete1) We've really changed through out time. Technology has influenced us in so many different ways. The way we speak, the way we express, ourselves even the way we think. Also the way we communicate with eachoter has changed. So many changes made through out time and based on technology.
ReplyDelete2)I believe technology its a facinating thing and we will see more advances in it each day. We have had the joy to see it grow through out time and space. Its so amazing the things we can achieve through technology. We have video cameras that allow us to see and hear eachother with out beign in the same room. We can be across the country and still be able to communicate thanks to technology.
ReplyDelete1. Is there indeed a generation gap among the new generation rather than the old generation? Indeed there is a major generation gap. Today's youth does not have a problem with interracial marriages, as does the generation of our grandparents. We don't see color, for them it isn't a norm, and in the past it was punishment. So therefore a major generation gap is here.
ReplyDeleteThink if in today's society we lived in the 1940's, we would be living in a place where everyone is outcasted for their race and color. If people didn't stand up for who their hearts choose we would b living in a place without love. We wouldn't be able to have different races be united like we have in today's generation, we would be stuck in past generations!
ReplyDelete1. If no one would've had the courage to stand-up for what they felt and thought to be right we wouldn't be living in a new generation where we don't look down on interracial marriage. For those in relationships with a different race we say "Power to you, and it doesn't matter what anyone else think!"
ReplyDelete2. It's a great thing that our generation has been open-minded to interracial marriages. Though the older generation doesn't approve because it isn't a norm, or how they have grown-up with. Their will always be a generation gap
ReplyDelete1. What comes to my mind when I see those old computers or other archaic technological devices is: How did the older generations lived without the ones we have nowadays? The difference between today and 30 years ago is humongous, it almost seems like if it were two different worlds.
ReplyDelete2. As the flow of history continues its eternal rush, and the yesterday's men leave room to the men of tomorrow, this transition becomes more evident in these latest centuries, in which technology has advanced hastily to the point that our parent no longer recognize the city they live on.
ReplyDeleteHow does each generation feel about technology rapidly advancing? Each generation benefits from new technology and inventions differently. This generation uses technology for communication, travel, businesses, schools ans so many more things that were never available before.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I use my ipod touch I can not believe the advanced technology I am holding in the palm of my hand. I can not help but to feel bad for the prior generations. If I need to look up directions or surf the internet it is portable. Back in the day directions came from geting lost and learning the right way.
ReplyDeleteTechnology-technological process, invention, method, or the like of.
ReplyDeleteThe inventions of technology has come along way. It is determined to keep changing and improving to make our lives easier.
“Technology makes it possible for people to gain control over everything, except over technology."
ReplyDeleteI read this quote on the internet and find it to be so true. Technology helps advance our lives and make it seem more convenient for everyday day living but technology is always out doing its self. there will always be a new, improved version of the same product the came out with the year before.
The generation between parents and yours is way different. The technology is one that had changed through time. Our parents probably can’t understand how to use the new and improve technologies that our generation offers. For our society technology is important as it was for our parents with the old technology. Technology is a generation gap because it has improved, because it helps our society, and it benefits the education.
ReplyDeleteThe generation of our grand parents and parents and even us is different. The technology has improved a lot since it was created. Even though we have been increasing in many ways the only one that has been improving dramatically was our technology. For this society technology is very important more than the past. Therefore technology is a generation gap because it has improved, its more useful in many was, and it benefits our society.
ReplyDeleteIn conclusion, technology is a generation gap because of its improvement, because it helps society, and is useful in our education. The world will keep rotating as we will improve trough time. We one day will become the old generation just like our parents now. Technology will keep improving because our brain is creative and it only stop until we die. The technology will keep surprising us with new ways that can be useful.
ReplyDeleteLastly, generation gap exits but more in our technology because of its improvement, because it’s useful in many ways, and it benefits society. As we keep improving our generation will became the old generation. Technology will keep improving because we are creative. Our parents and our grandparents won’t be able to see more new and improve technology just like us when we get older. Apparently technology is an infinite object, because it will keep improving as we keep growing.
ReplyDeleteThe workplace today is an area where in my opinion the generation gap does exist. It can be noticed by the ages in the individuals with whom you work on a daily basis. It can also be noted in the fashion in which they handle business overall. In many instances when you must meet and great your clients is the biggest factor that I can see where the differences can be noticed.
ReplyDeleteIn the work world there are many generation gaps to be found. However, many of these differences can be solved for everyone to be able to communicate on a better and more cohesive basis. Although this may seem to be an easy task, it is not. You must also take into consideration that for change to happen people must be willing to work together as a team. This in itself poses a challenge. Is there a generation gap that will continue to exist? I would have to say… yes.
ReplyDeleteMy openings
ReplyDeleteThe 70's and now are similar, back then freedom of speech the thing every one was doing. Then came the drugs and the sex. My mother told me lots of stories, seen she was the biggest hippie in the world. My older sister Layla remember some thing but mostly that my mom partied hard, My sister was about 7 at the time coming in to the 80's. So she saw only a few things. My mom was in Chile in her hippie days but she did travel twice to the states and she is it was no different.
Molarities in the United state are very different from the times of the 70's and now. My mother told me lots of fantastic thing about back in her times when she was a hippie. The parties were really whiled and hip, the drugs were and will always be a problem but back then not so much, seen everyone did it. The protesting was called Freedom of speech and even though we still have it i think back then it was more free to say what you want to say.
ending:
ReplyDeleteIn conculsion I feel that today life still is a little more manageable. Drugs are more controled and watched. Same sex realationships are more expcepted. I mean it is not complety excepted but it is more open in the United States. As far as how people spoke out before with parade and ect... I think that there is more respected now then in the 70's.
The moral of today Ifeel that's comer. The only thing I do not like about now, is the goverment takes control over everything, like same sex marrage,I do not agree on that same sex parnet can not get married! they are people as well.I am all for no drugs, People are more afraid to speak out when it come out in giving opinions there was more freedom of speech back in the day.
ReplyDeleteAmazing how the generations affected how things are today! The generation changes every century. I have experienced myself how things change over the years. Even made some time out my schedule to talk to others about how things have changed. I've had conversations with seniors, and adults a little older than me about the past generations. I’m twenty one years old and even I have noticed how things change.
ReplyDeleteImmediately I have realized that Kelly was a respected senior citizen. As a Vietnam veteran he has opened my eyes to my question "Is there a generation Gap". In my assumption I thought that in my life time there was change. Come to realize Kelly has given me knowledge and wisdom on just having conversations about his lifetime. "Yes from generation to generation to our children’s to their children time will always make changes"!
